We are so blessed Benjamin is such a good baby, he loves tummy time and we love listening to all his little baby squeaks and noises.

He is a prefect sixth addition to our family, he sleeps right through all the noise at our crazy loud home.

2 weeks!

We made it two weeks with this new bundle and we are loving every minute. He is the prefect addition to our family, so loved by everyone.

He is eating and sleeping wonderfully and the big kids are adjusting. Every week it gets better, this week we even ventured out on our own to a splash pad and Gram went with us to swim at a community center pool.

I am thankfully feeling like myself again which I am thankful for, it makes my job as mom a little easier.

As you can see the girls love their little brother, they are big helpers and very attentive to his needs. Charlotte calls him a little cutie or little peanut! Dad loves to give the kids nicknames and one of Ben' s is little bunkie. Miss Evelyn likes to also call him that but instead of saying bunkie she says bonkie.

He is Here!!

We welcomed baby brother Benjamin Andrew, Monday June 29th at 9:51pm
Weighing in at 8 lbs 1 oz

After a beautiful delivery, I hemorrhaged due to a retained placenta, I continued to bleed and ended up going to surgery to stop the bleeding, I also received several units of blood to save my life.

Praise God for a healthy beautiful baby but the road to recovery for me is not as quick as I would have anticipated.

Would love prayer for strength and energy as I continue to battle with anemia and as we transition home with three older children.

Here are a few pictures I snapped at the hospital before we left, hopping to updated more as I am feeling able.

Thank you for all your continued support and love we have received every text and  note with so much love.

Home Stretch!

36 weeks 5 days pregnant today which is how far along I was when I delivered the girls three years ago. Crazy to think about the comparison, at this point in the pregnancy with the girls I was very uncomfortable with 13.2 lbs of baby I was so ready to be done! In case you are wondering my midwife assured me that little brother is not quite that big yet ;)

At this point I am still feeling really good, which is such a blessing since we have three busy kids and a household to keep up with that can be exhausting.

After my 36 week appointment this week, I am defiantly  starting to feel the need to "nest" and get things accomplished before this baby decides to make his arrival.

Aaron and Liam are up north this weekend so its just been the girls and I, and we are busy running errands finding those last decor items for Liam"s room and the nursery. I also started to finally wash baby clothes and other baby items, so I am not having to get it done later. Because we have such a busy household I know that having some meals frozen will help make life more manageable after the baby comes. The last thing I want to worry about is what to make for dinner. So the girls and I are working on making soup and bread to freeze.

So, if you want to know how to truly bless a new mom, don't stop by empty handed. Bring her family a meal or gift card for a meal. Just my two sense as a mom expecting number four I have always found Frozen meals such a blessing when bringing home a new baby.

It has been so much fun preparing for this baby with so much involvement from the kids. The latest thing is that they all have to say good morning and goodnight to baby brother and constantly asking what he is doing. Just today Evie asked what baby brother smells like? Its funny to listen to the things that they come up with. This week is our big sibling class at the hospital with a tour, which they are all excited for.

                   36 weeks with baby #four

36 weeks and 5 days pregnant with the girls in labor heading to the hospital.

Next stop the big K!!

We made it, one more year in the books!
So proud of my big boy just a couple months and he will be taking the big step into elementary school.
Since Liam is my first to send to Kindergarten I am of course nervous about what new challenges we will face. But, i am thankful that we put our trust in one who is bigger then my everyday worries and He has big plans for this big boy!! I know that Gods plans are so great and His protection is surrounding all of  my blessings.

We are excited to run and play all summer, celebrating childhood!!
