Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken again this year by Heather Barta Photography.
It was the first Saturday in October and only 40 degrees!! Despite the cold we ended up with some great family moments captured. 

 It ended up being our 6th anniversary the day of the photo shoot so it was fun to take a couple pictures without the kids. 

Simple Moments

As the Holiday season creeps up on us, I am reminded about what is truly important. So thankful for that little babe in a manger, that came so that my children and I can have life.

Evelyn has been asking everyday everyday if we are going to Jesus's birthday now.

Enjoying the simple moments with these three today.

We had fun yesterday going downtown to visit Macy's and see Santa with Gram and Papa. Love seeing the holidays through their eyes and experiencing the joys of the season all over again. We love to keep things simple this time of year and focus on others and the reason we celebrate Christmas.

Christmas Tree

We had fun going to pick out our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. It was a cold one only about 15 degrees, but the kids with their rosy cheeks had fun on our adventure. 
I love the smell of a fresh evergreen tree in my home this time of year.
