We got back from our week long vacation at the lake yesterday. These are pictures from our last night there and it perfectly sums up what a wonderful time we had together. 

We are so blessed to have each other to create so many priceless memories.

I love capturing everyday silly moments with my kids, this is was drives my passion to become a better my photographer. Because in 5, 10 years this is what we will look back on, so I want to capture true emotion that is real and not forces or set up. 

These pictures are such a great reminder to me that God wants us to be real and authentic in all that we do. I want my kids to be who they are in all their silliness, frustration, sadness, and joy. This is what God desires of us just to be who he has created us to be. Because not until we embrace who we are, are we able to be changed and formed into what He already sees and knows us to become. 

The weekend

Last weekend was full of fun!
The kids helped dad build the bench for our table and  Liam learned how to use power tools.
I was able to take the big kids to the beach to enjoy the sun while Ben stayed with dad. 

I love watching the kids play together using their imaginations. In the pictures below they were pretending that the cushions were the dock with water all around. 

July 4th!

We had a great 4th of July weekend, the weather was picture perfect everyday. 

We were able to visit nana and grandpa up north, and spend a family day at the beach.
